Why CES is an Important Event for Learning

As an intern with an interest in research of technology and healthcare of the future, I am fascinated by the sector of digital health innovations taking place in the industry. Many of these advances will be on display at CES 2024. Coming from Australia, CES and other similar shows are very exciting to attend as the sheer size and variety to see the various marketing methods around the technology is educational. I am especially interested in wearables and Al-driven diagnostic tools that show promise to revolutionize healthcare. Being able to explore the idea of how something as small as a computer chip can allow us to gain new information like never seen before is exhilarating. Alongside national and global telemedicine platforms that are making care more accessible, personalized health solutions are tailoring treatments to individual needs with enormous impacts. This opportunity to witness the coming together of a practice that is rich in history, medicine, science and the use of modern technology inspires me. These solutions that will not only shape healthcare, but will improve patient outcomes and our society as a whole.
